Hastinapur city of pandvas and birth place of three Jain Teerthankara. Situated in District Meerut about 37 kms from Meerut and 100 kms from Deihi connected through Meerut-Bijnor Road.
It was the capital of Kauravas and was ruled by the Pandavas after winning the Mahabharata. From that era to this, the city has come along a long way but it is still known as the town of Mahabharata.
A number of Master piece of architect and center of great faith of Jain religion are also wroth visiting here as- Jambudweep Jain Temple, Shwetambar Jain Temple, Prachin Digambar Jain Temple, Astapad Jain Temple and Shri Kailash Parvat Jain Temple etc.

he Hastinapur Wild Life Sanctuary, lies alongside the Northern tip of the River Ganga, flowing thru the districts of Muzzafarnagar and Bijnore. The sanctuary extends all the way to the districts of Hapur and Amroha .The regions of Khaadar, Khola and Bangar are also assimilated in the total spread of the sanctuary.

151 feet high श्री अष्टापद तीर्थ (Shri Ashtapad Teerth) having four Bhagwan Rishabhadev Ji murti in all four direction with four rang mandap (gates) attached with prayer hall. Only five minutes stay allow on white top Jinalay.Himalaya is also called Ashtapad because of its eight different mountain range Gaurishankar, Kailash, Badrinath, Nanda, Drongiri, Narayan, Nar and Trishuli and according to Nirvankand this is also called Adishwar Swami.
